We built the project in stages, harmonizing architectural and branding efforts to shape a new format for experiencing art. The dynamic “M” logo reflects flexibility — a canvas that adapts to murals and natural landscapes alike. Architecturally, we designed a contrast between minimalist outer walls and a vibrant, expressive inner space — a metaphorical journey from skin to soul. The park becomes an extension of the gallery, and the gallery an extension of the park, creating a fluid, immersive environment where artistic expression and public space coexist.
The Mural Art Park in Frisco, Texas — the largest public art initiative in the Lone Star State — required a unique concept that would seamlessly merge art and nature. The challenge was to create a dual-purpose space: both a gallery and a park, where the atmosphere would feel modern, welcoming, and reflective of creativity without the rigidity of a traditional museum. Our task was to develop both branding and architectural identity for this hybrid art space, striking the right balance between structure and freedom.

We developed a dynamic logo made from the M letter. The logo symbolizes a flexible “canvas” of the Mural Art Park that can be transformed to host any mural idea. The logo stretches to capture more art and nature in different proportions, sizes, and details.

We had to make a new format of the space for exposing and exploring the art – a gallery inside the park and a park inside the gallery. The compilation of these two spaces extends the borders of the usual art-space, making it go outside the exhibition hall and reach out to nature. Here the freedom of an open space meets the freedom of creativity.MAP design is built upon a contrast between its outer and inner space. If we were to compare its architecture with a human, the exterior would be the skin with its long plane white walls. But the inner space would become the soul and the spirit. It is a storm of emotions and thoughts – a vivid space featuring this never-ending search of the meanings and answers, shapes and forms in contemporary art.
